MWSA Sponsorship Program Information

MWSA has created a sponsorship program to help encourage Junior and collegiate skiers' participation in competitive water skiing.

Objective:
The objective of the Sponsorship program is to support and encourage development of our Minnesota junior and collegiate water skiing participants through various means, to assist these boys/girls and young women and men to succeed in their pursuit of water skiing excellence.  This program's goal is to improve the quality and performance of these participants while increasing the number of competitive junior and young adult water skiers in the State of Minnesota.

Targeted Divisions:  Girls 1-3 and Boys 1-3, or for collegiate skiers, Men I/Women I or Novice Men/Women water skiers, all as defined by USA Water Ski Association guidelines.

Possible areas for support/encouragement/recognition:

• Newsletter recognition
• Formation of State Ranking / team recognition
• Various recognition as necessary & appropriate to support the objectives of this program (e.g. t- shirts, plaques, medals, etc……)
• Monetary sponsorship grants for ski school, tournaments, etc…. (via approved sponsorship request form)
• Reduced or defrayed cost to attend a MWSA Jr. Development Clinic (for juniors)

Requirements:

• Minnesota resident
• MWSA member (join MWSA by clicking here)
• MWSA Tournament skier (USA Water Ski member - join by clicking here, or by calling 1-800-533-2972)
• Completion of Sponsorship Request form for MWSA support

• Return the completed form to an MWSA Board member through email.  The Board will consider your application and get back to you with a decision.
