Minnesota Water Ski Hall of Fame

The Minnesota Water Ski Association (MWSA) began it’s own Hall of Fame awards in 1990 to recognize those individuals who have made significant contributions to the sport of water skiing in the state of Minnesota. It’s first inductee was the late Mr. Ralph Samuelson from Lake City, Minnesota. Samuelson, known as “The Father of Water Skiing” was the first person in the world to successfully water ski on two skis behind a boat, having done so in 1922 on Lake Pepin.

Help us to add information to the Hall of Fame by emailing content to either of the webmasters of this page.  The MWSA does not have a physical location to display the Hall of Fame and so presents it in this website.
