Junior Development Program Information

What we offer

• 8 instructional sets on a private ski site with instruction from American Water Ski Association (AWSA) certified coaches.
• 3-event instruction (slalom, trick, jumping). Sorry, but no wakeboarding.
• Competition ski boats
• Tons of fun! The clinic starts on a Friday, and ends on Sunday (for 2012, the dates are June 8-10th).  We will try to plan the schedule to accommodate any skiers who are still in school on Friday.
• Lunch will be provided.
• A MN Jr. Development T-shirt for each skier.
• Free entry fee to the Minnesota State Water Ski championships in July for those that haven’t participated in a ski tournament previously (for 2012, the dates are July 28-29 - click here for details).

How to register

• We ask that all skiers are able to get up on 2 skis prior to the clinic.
• The clinic is open to skiers in AWSA divisions Boys 1-3 and Girls 1-3 (Ages 17 and under).

• Registrations will only be accepted by mail and will be taken on a first come first served basis. We will start a waiting list if the clinic fills up.
• Every participant must be an active USA Water Ski member due to insurance purposes and a MWSA member.  Click here to join MWSA.  Join USA Waterski by clicking here, or by calling 1-800-533-2972. The cost is $40/year for juniors. Guest memberships, good for that weekend only, will be available at each site for $10.00.
