Minnesota collegiate skiers honored by NCWSA

Congrats to the Minnesota skiers who were recently honored by the National Collegiate Water Ski Association!

• Male Outstanding Leader of the Year: Matt Knafla of Iowa State
  Matt Knafla has been named Male Outstanding Leader of the Year by NCWSA. Matt has been serving as AAC Chairman for the past 2 years, and has expressed a great interest in serving on the NCWSA board. As his own skills on the water have improved, he has used a leadership by example approach to motivate the rest of his team to better themselves, helping earn them the "fantasy regional wildcard" spot for this year’s past nationals, where they came in at the number 3 slot in Division Two.
• Jane Erickson of the University of Minnesota was named to the Academic All Star team by maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or better.
